Emotion Learning Loop

GUIDO's emotion learning runs on your phone and watch — short, dignified, opt-in. Random prompts during the day pull a card from your current Behavioral Cycle phase. Answer correctly, earn Embers, climb the Levels of Light. Your progress logs centrally so the web view, the watch, and the phone all stay in sync.

Your feedback tunes how often GUIDO sends prompts. Default is 3 per day; range is 1-7.

How this connects to the platform

Phase-conditioned trigger. When GUIDO's behavioral cycle classifier detects a Build-Up signal — from voice tone, journal language, or wearable HRV — it can fire a quiz drawn from emotions matching that phase. The quiz becomes an intervention disguised as a game.

Cross-device sync. Watch ↔ Phone ↔ Web all share one progression record. Tap on the watch — Embers update everywhere. Earn enough Embers, graduate from Level 1 (40 emotions) to Level 2 (80 emotions) to Level 3 (combinations + ambivalence).

Adaptive frequency. Default 3 prompts/day, tunable 1-7 based on your "More / Same / Less / Skip" feedback after each session. Respects Do-Not-Disturb; never during sleep windows or calendar-busy time.

Research instrument. Vocabulary growth, response latency, accuracy, level progression are phenotype features for clinical outcomes research. Coded IDs only; no PHI pre-BAA. Pairs naturally with polygenic risk scoring for gene × environment correlation research (collaboration with Rutgers TPG Lab).

Patent-pending. U.S. Provisional No. 64/047,417. Candidate O — Phase-Conditioned Cross-Device Emotion-Learning Loop — in process for non-provisional conversion.

This is a clickable preview. The R1 platform ships the daily check-in + Guardian Ring. The learning loop is R2 (post-BAA, native apps).
